NASBA at PDI

ASMC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of Accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

The continuing development of professional competence involves a program of lifelong educational activities. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is the term used in these standards to describe the educational activities that assist CPAs in achieving and maintaining quality in professional services.

*ASMC’s PDI 2023 will offer 70+ in-person workshops that are qualified for NASBA credit. Unfortunately, ASMC will not be able to offer NASBA credit for virtually live-streamed sessions or post conference recordings due to the requirements.

For NASBA qualified sessions please reference the PDI 2023 Program Agenda to see what is available. To receive NASBA credit you must complete a required survey.

Fields of Study/Competencies Include: Accounting, Communications, Computer Software and Applications, Finance, Human Resources-Personnel, Information Technology, Management Services, Personal Development, Personnel-Human Resources and Specialized Knowledge.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of defense financial management

Advanced Preparation: None

All workshops that are NASBA eligible, along with the program level, learning objectives, and fields of study/competencies are designated on the program agenda.

Session Attendance: For the first time this year, ASMC will utilize Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for session monitoring to track program attendance at PDI 2023. You must be registered for PDI and wear your name badge for the entirety of the conference. It is required to enter each session within five minutes of the start time, and you must stay for the full class to be eligible for credit. Name badges must be easily visible during all event sessions.
