Fall In Fall Out Report Using Power Query (Tuesday 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM): Learn how EXCEL Power Query compares to similar reports and quickly lets you know what new records arrived and what old records dropped off between the two reports. From Defense Travel System reports to Career Development Financial Management reports and so on - this reporting is very useful. Short how-to videos will be shared to highlight this solution, building it from scratch. Finally, imagine you drop your new report into a folder and click refresh and you’re done. Two separate worksheets displaying new records on one worksheet and the other displaying what dropped off.

Microsoft: The Best Tips and Tricks for Microsoft Office, Windows, and DoD Safe (Tuesday 1:15 PM - 2:30 PM): This workshop shows the best Microsoft Office Suite shortcuts to immediately enhance attendee productivity, especially for Excel and PowerPoint. We will also cover some of the best Microsoft Windows tips useful for Government computers and getting the most out of DoD Safe. Basic and advanced users will enhance their skills and learn shortcuts to transform their daily activities so they can spend more time ANALYZING!

OneNote (Tuesday 2:45 PM - 4:00 PM): Learn the true power of OneNote. It’s the most underused and yet one the most Powerful Microsoft Applications. We will help you setup your own personalized ribbon with the top 22 most liked out of the possible 340 ribbons. We’ll provide you with short videos of how each of the 22 ribbons works besides the personalized setup. Imagine, taking a picture of something on the web and having OneNote pull the Text from the picture and display it as text. This is just one of many other features OneNote can do.

Microsoft: Business Intelligence Tools – Power Query, Data Models, and Power BI (Tuesday 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM): Microsoft Power BI is much more than fancy dashboards, it’s a business transformation tool, Power BI can unleash the power of your data to analyze it quickly, correctly, and thoroughly every time without multiple data pulls that give you a different number every time. Attendees will learn how to create and use Microsoft’s #1 business intelligence and analytical tool to connect to data and transform it with Power Query, use Data Analytics Expression (DAX) functions, and create, assemble, and navigate through Power BI visualizations. Finally, we will show how these visualizations are represented in Tableau and Qlik. Attendees will leave knowing how to create and use powerful data visualizations to gain valuable insights from their data.
